Feeling confused

finding myself in a dry dream state

Like an orange haze

in front of my eyes.

Heat is trapped in my body

It feels like flames in my ribs

Burning in my head

I can't be anywhere else

until it ends

The only thing to do is to feel it

melt over me

Allow it to become my body

But

not my mind

My mind is free to dream

wildest fantasies

a delightful dreamland

A clever espcae from the heat

Fever has no power in this plane

Soon I will forget

the haze

Barely recalling it existed

after it has passed.
